I’m a freshman now

When did school become so hard?

I want break to come.

Rough winds blow on me,

As the rain drowns my sorrow,

Rescue me, I say.

Restless Nights

A young restless mind

Anxiety takes over 

Not sleeping at night.

The deep, endless ocean

Beautifully chaotic

The brine plucky, yet calm

senior year haze

golden days faded

to days spent at the window

watching in a daze.
