Galva Blog

Here’s an entry from Hannah, an 8th grader from Galva, IL

Bright coloured fruit. Such vibrant colours. There’s reds, yellows, purples, and oranges. The bright fruit sits on the counter untouched. As the fruit lay on the counter, the world goes on. People dying, people being born, people being sad, and people being happy. People leaving, people staying, people crying, and people laughing. People sleeping, people awake. People fighting, people shooting, people hurting, and people terrorizing. People smiling, people playing, people having fun, and people helping. The people around the world doing good and bad. The world changing all the time. But yet, the bright, vibrant fruit still sits untouched on the counter.
